About the RTA
The Rowayton Tennis Association (RTA) started in the early1950's when a few hardy residents got together to build our first tennis courts at Bayley Beach. The RTA is a local community organization with paying members* who manage, maintain and lease the 5 tennis courts (4 Har-Tru and one hard court) at Bayley Beach from the Sixth Taxing District of Norwalk. During the season our Pro, along with our Board of Directors who give their time to make this organization work on behalf of its members, oversee our many events.
The Rowayton Tennis Association offers lessons, leagues, tournaments, cardio tennis and family activities to residents of Rowayton, Connecticut (Sixth Taxing District). Joining the RTA is a great way to enjoy Rowayton, become part of the community and get to know your fellow tennis enthusiasts. We're open to all sorts of ideas. If you'd like to be involved or volunteer for an event, please contact us at rta@rowaytontennis.org.
Bayley Beach, part of Neville Bayley Park, is owned and maintained by the 6th Taxing District of Norwalk (Rowayton) for the use of its residents and their guests. In addition to the tennis courts, Bayley Beach offers a children’s playground, a basketball court, a volleyball area, a snack bar, restrooms and picnic tables.
*RTA membership is open to current property owners and residents of the Sixth Taxing District, Rowayton, CT 06853.

Paul developed a love fpr tennis at an early age, playing at area clubs. Many Rowayton residents may remember Paul as a long-time member of the Rowayton Men’s Tennis and Paddle Tennis teams where he was a participant in several league dominating seasons.
